[Deck Profile] The faboulous Noble Knights!!

T'was the knight. He arose from a humble knight to King of all Kings, the King of all Knights, the King Artorigus. For this he claimed the sword of Excalibur his own.

This beautiful archtype was (also) created by one of the most famous knights of the Konami Kingdom:

Fabulous Sir Kevin of the Konami Kingdom of the glorious Family of T'wart!

For this I'd like to thank him (and all other people that worked on this). And this deck is a tribute towards their great work on this awesome archtype!

Let's start with the monsters, shall we?

Medraut is the key card of the deck. He gives you access to all kind of combos:

Equip Medraut with any equip and use its effect to summon Borz to the field. Re-equip the just destroyed equip to Borz, use its effect to get Destiny, Gallatin and Excalibur (if none of them was the card you equipped to Medraut), get any to your hand and send the others to the grave. Now equip the searched Noble Arms to your Medraut to make him LV5 ones more and Xyz Summon Sacred Noble Knight of King Artorigus. Use its effect to equip Destiny, Excalibur and Gallatin to it. Now you have a 3200 ATK fortress that can't be targeted and has to be destroyed twice per turn to actually destroy it and he also destroys your monster once per turn.

Best starting move in like ever. :3

Or if you have Medraut, a Gawayn and any equip, it means its OTK TIME!!. Summon Medraut, SS Gawayn at this point and equip Medraut with your equip. Special Summon Gwalchavad from your deck throught Medraut and reequip the Noble Arms to Gwalchavad. Now Xyz summon Heroic Champion - Excalibur and detach both materials for its effect. Now use Gwalchavad to get back Gawayn, Special Summon him and Xyz Summon Blade Armor Ninja, detach a material for it to attack twice this turn, which equals with Excalibur to 8400 damage.

And this isn't even all combinations for all the situations your opponent may get you into.

Remember: If your opponent trys to Veiler an equipped Noble Knight, just MST your equip, that way your opponents Veiler will be wasted, you can still Special Summon throught the effect of Medraut (without destroying an Equip Spell card) and after this chain you can form a new one to equip your Noble Arms to the newly Special Summoned monster!

Borz was the monster I waited for so long. He gets you all the necessary pieces of Noble Arms really quick to your hand/grave where they are waiting for your kings to further use them!

Drystan opens up for a lot of plays to destroy your opponents face-up cards. He helps you get over cards you wouldn't normaly without MSTs or Dark Hole. He also protects your weaker Noble Knights from being attacked. With two Drystans on the field, you could even create a soft lock by protecting both with Lance or reduce their attacks by Arfeudutyr and then destroy them to equip it to the other one and reduce its attack as well, for that very very specific situation that will happen in like never. :3

Oh no, I don't run Lady of the Lake? How could I? Right? For one, she could be very useful in deticated builds, but this build isn't deticated towards her. Sadly she is kinda death draw and isn't searchable outside of Foolish Burial and some weird plays using Lavalval Chain. So I decided to run a different LV1 Tuner that isn't searchable like her: Effect Veiler. Usable in many situations and also usable for that rare situations where you need to summon Ignoble Knight of High Laundsallyn!

Onwards toward the equips!!

Three of any equip seems like too much, but there is no equip spell card you want to see more then Noble Arms of Destiny. He protects your monsters so good, it isn't funny anymore. :3

Two of each Gallatin and Excalibur is used for your King of Noble Knights plays as they are your go to equips. Gallatin makes all your Noble Knights some very heavy dragon slayers while Excalibur can protect your Noble Knights from protection (like Effect Veiler) and can be later used to switch between both kings if you happen to need the other one.

One of each Arfeudutyr and Caliburn seems like a stretch, but you need them in specific situations.

Forbidden Lance is used to protect your monsters from certain defeat. Remember: If you Forbidden Lance an equipped monster, those equips don't magically fall off, but still stay equipped. They just don't use their effects on your monsters for that turn.

The trap line up is uninspired and rather what I use to conquer the meta. For non-Sixth Sense users: Use Vanity's Emptiness for those duels you wouldn't have won otherwise. :3

The Extra Deck is the standard line-up for Noble Knights since like ever. You have your kings, you have your OTK performers and your tech Xyzs for those specific situations that will probably never come.

And it is awesome of course. BEST EXTRA DECK EVER. YO.

And thats it for this week. :3

  1. What if your opponent uses Waboku? It doesn't target a specific monster and can be chained with mst.
