[Budget Deck] Halloween Month Special #2 Ka Ka Ka

So... I went out, got bored, looked into my wallet, and decided to do something retarded again. And the result was... interesting. My brain got possessed and I went all kakaka.....  .___.

(Shinobu Oshino frorm the Monogatari Series)

Which is why we're going to take a look at a budget deck this week (- Extra Deck). Mr. Vampire Killer, consider yourself lucky that Dracula has decided to troll you with a Loli Vampire instead for the time being ~ Kaka!

Today's deck is considered a Budget Deck because most of the cards can be purchased in common and the majority of those cards come from 2 of the latest starter/structure decks!

Be prepared for some Kattobingo action! HERE WE GO!!!!

(Side Deck: these cards were tested in this deck and got sorted out)

Extra Deck: Optional Line-Up; Pretty much any generic XYZ can be played in this deck, just went to those I think make the most sense or are currently run in the Metagame.

Now we all know what we are thinking right now, what a noob would ever consider Gagaga being any good? Well... I DO. Hah! And there's nothing you can do about it, ka-ka! >=]

Okay jokes aside, I know this is more a troll deck than a competitive deck, but then again this IS Trolldecking after all, so bear with it and keep reading, I promise you this is far less stupid than it first might appear to be!

First of all: what's the point of this deck?

Answer: It's one of those decks which appear to be harmless and yet unpredictable and since it's something most of the times noobs would be playing, absolutely devastating when used right.

That's nice and all, but a deck full of weak magicians, is still a deck full of weak magicians!

True true, I jest you not, it's undeniable that Gagaga Magician's been here ever since the introduction of XYZ-Monsters and never was being recognized at all. Well there are several reasons for that, and one or two of them had to do with the timing of his release.

- When he was released amongh XYZ, people seemed to look down on this new type of cards, especially since people thought of them as a cheap Synchro rip-off (while Synchro back then was considered a cheap Fusion Knock-off and so on....), easy to summon, but due to their effects only be usable as long they had ammunition (yea right, because monsters usually live longer than 2 turns, kaka...) they appeared to be not so good. And when people read about the Synchro Incapability of Gagaga Magician, he totally got pushed behind the scenes.

- He's weak stats, and for a monster which has weak stats, his stats are too high, it doesn't satisfy anybody! Yes, players tend to prefer monsters over 1800 or under 1500, everything else is considered to be rather pathetic (due to floatability, beatdown and bottomless trap holes). Thanks to his 1500/1000 he clearly seems to be the most pathetic kind of monster cards and well, I can't disagree...

- He's a wasted normal summon! Well, true again, due to the reason stated above

And despite all these reasons, I've still decided to build a deck around this specific card, why???

Kaka, well asked, me Shinobu, I mean Kimika shall enlighten you!

- The times have changed, everything is about XYZ-Monsters now! People finally realized that monsters don't have to have unlimited ammunition on their Monster Cards, since they won't be lasting over 2 turns anyways!

- At the same time, they don't need to stay on the field for much longer in order to gain enough advantage to win the game.

- He's capable of changing his level, which means he's able to be material for all kinds of XYZ-Monsters, how cool is that!?

- The V for Victory Fire introduced enough new units to make the Gagaga/Non-Spellbook Spellcasters all fresh and interesting for discovery once again.

- The Gagaga-Trio (excluding Gardna) in this Starter Deck have all you need for an aggressive XYZ-Play, which makes the game against it absolutely unpredictable.

- Tons of possibilities of bringing Gagagas back to life to play mind-games with your opponent.

- Compatible with various Spellcaster Engines/Control Units.

- Compatible with the Blue-Eyes - Maiden Engine.

Sounds all nice and cool, but big words won't do much without evidence right? So here we go:

This deck focuses on 2 things mainly; Blue-Eyes Beatdown and Fast XYZ-ing.

The Gagaga-Combo to make the XYZ possible are Gagaga Magician + Gagaga Child:

[Gagaga Magician + Gagaga Child]: is a combination which is fairly easy to perform (since Gagaga-Child can be special summoned from the hand) at a price of losing a battle phase. This seems to be a big minus, but if you think about Control Units such as Big-Eye or Dracossack, a missed out Battle Phase seems like absolutely not a big deal. In addition, in case you have a Blue-Eyes combo on the field, you can also decide to make a Gachi Gachi Gantetsu instead which doesn't require Gagaga Child to change it's level in other words, that way, you can bypass it's draw-back.

[Gagaga Child + Gagaga Girl]: This combo isn't used for XYZ. Different than Gagaga Magician, these 2 cards are not incapable of Synchro Summon. With level 1 Tuners in this deck, a Synchro Summon for a Spellcaster Monster is hereby granted, make use of it!

Maiden Combos:
Okay, since Maiden has been played in OCG and we all have our Netdecking TCG buddies in Europe and USA, I'm sure all of you know what I am talking about here.

Main reasons why I play it here are:

- This was in a Structure Deck (aka Budget)
- The Spellcaster Support cards are a good match for both parts of the deck
- Maiden is a Tuner, it opens possibilities
- Maiden is a stupid and annoying card while she's on the field
- Blue-Eyes always makes your opponent waste ammo, ALWAYS!

Now "Pro-Gamers" will be talking bad about me after seeing this deck but anyways, this is a deck for people who want to have a cheap deck only (not counting Extra Deck since it's flexible), they have their decks they can enjoy with spending more and more money and there are others who just want to have fun and a fresh taste after 2 lists of the same decks over and over again, and this deck is one of those for them, just deal with it!

Anyways, Cards which can interact with Maiden in this deck are:
- Gagaga Shield
- Wonder Wand

Bringing into play:
- Apprentice Magician
- Undertaker
- Call of the Haunted

I don't feel like getting into further details about this deck, innovative players will find a way to play it and have fun, others will be frustrated and throw it into their anal waste : ), that's it for today.

Since we still have many lines of words left, let's keep up with a little bit of popular culture. Here's more brain washing loli vampire action, enjoy!:
