I mean he found out that apes evolved into humans.

Just like Pikachu into Raichu, just without using a Thunder Stone.

So, you finally found a day to feature Evol? I thought you would never give them some sweet love!

To be honest, me neither. Evols were complicated. You don't want to play them at all, mostly, because you see so much combinations that require certain cards in your hand and setup. But the reward is worth the struggle.

Now how does this deck work? How do you summon Laggia?

One of the most famous combinations in this deck is Evoltile Najasho and Evo-Force. Activating Evo-Force by tributing Najasho mostly leads to a Laggia or Dolkka. This is due to people wanting to negate Laggia rather then Evo-Force, as Laggia is a bigger threat to them and they want to see it in your Graveyard. But they haven't thought of Diplo destroying their Spells/Traps before they're able to negate your Laggia.

That sounds psychological to me. So this means you're literally screwed if somebody negates your Evo-Force?

Not certainly. If your Evo-Force gets negated you Special Summon Evolsaur throught the effect of Najasho (which still triggers) depending on what you need right now. If the only thing your opponent had was a Solemn Warning you will want to summon a Cerato for a 2100 beatstick with a search effect or a Vulcano if you already have a Evolsaur in your Graveyard to still summon a Laggia or Dolkka.

Ok, that sounds rather strong. But what's the deal with Enemy Controllers, especially in that masses?

Most people think of Enemy Controller either of the first effect turning monster to defense to protect your monsters, or Kaiba saying 'Up, Down, Left, Right, B, A!' to activate this cards effect as a hommage to the famous Konami code. But with Evols, this card has a very special abillity. It takes control of opponents monster by tributing one of your monster, and that's the code word. Tributing your Najasho (or Elginero) and taking controll of the opponents monster almost garanties you a Xyz monster. A very good example will be Wind-Up Zenmaister.

Yeah, I saw that on the list. What's the deal with it? I mean we have Maestroke now.

Well, Maestroke is for opponent's monster, while Zenmaister is for your monster. Why your own monster? Westlo is the hero of the day. Flip Westlo, Special an Evolsaur, Flip him back, and during your End Phase get another Evolsaur because your Westlo gets flipped up again.

Ok, now how do the cards from Galactic Overlord come in handy with this deck? Talking about Evo-Diversity, Elginero and Gaia Dragon.

Evo-Diversity is perfect for getting your Evoltiles (or rarely Evolsaur) rather then using Pot of Duality in earlies builds. But it has the restriction that it may not be used more then once per turn and this gave me the reason to put only two of it into my deck. About Elginero, I only use him once, as he is another good target for Evo-Force and Enemy Controller, but certainly not as good as Najasho. He is just 'another' Najasho, I felt like I needed that 4th target. His second effect comes very in handy, as he returns your unusefull Evolsaur (especially Vulcano) to your deck and searches out Najasho or Westlo (whichever is more usefull).

Gaia Dragon on the other hand is a tech card people will use together with Mind Control (and this deck with Enemy Controller). If your opponent has a Rank 5 or 6 monster (like Tiras or Insektor Exabeetle) which gets on your nerfes like fuck, then you just take control of it overlay them with Gaia Dragon.

Ok, my last question is regarding those Evolsaures on your hand. Isn't that like 7 deathdraws in your hand?

If you hate having those sweet dinos on your hand, then you shouldn't play this deck. Yes it is kinda bad having multiple of those dinos on your hand, but in the end you've chosen to play with this deck and therefore you will have to deal with it as good as you can. Normal Summon them, set them to bluff, use them as tribute fodder to get opponents monster. You can do very much stuff with 'em.

Ok, thanks, all hail Bunilla!

Burn the witch!

And here we have yet another video by Trollvlogger.
