Yes, we will be talking about Dark World, again!

yo-ChaosAngel already wrote about it, but he has definitely a different build comparing to mine, because we're not living in the same region. While he lives in Hong Kong, my humble self lives in Switzerland and here we have TCG, Tour Guides, Gold on the street and in the trees, Chocolate sans mass and a other format than Japan, Asia and America.

(Well, it's no different to America, because we don't care about those filthy Shueisha stuff about JUMP and Manga Promos. We play all TCG cards. Besides big tournaments like YCS. But regional we play with all TCG cards.)

Sooooo....let's talk about Dark World.

It's just, how it should look like. It looks like winning to my eyes. Anyone running Goldd, Sillva, Ceruli or other not-worthy friends, should cry in the Corner of Dark World.

Why am I not running Goldds or Sillvas?

You can't Normal Summon them without having to tribute a monster, so they will stuck in your hand, regardless of your luck.

Why am I not running Raven and Beiige?

Well. This was a TCG decision and a experience dicision. Beiige was just replaced by Tour Guide, because she is the absolute best option for DWs. Raven just didn't want to be played. And without any Beiige, Goldds or Sillvas, he doesn't make any sense at all. He would just be random. Me likes random, but not this random.

Why in hell am I running Veiler??!

This is a personal decision. I was searching for a good replacement for Raven (see above) and then I found out I would sometimes like to have this Raven to be a Veiler (even more then a Raven).

Then again, I am running Pot of Duality and Dragged Down into the Grave, which isn't so abnormal, comparing to the OCG, but they normaly aren't running those in threes. I run three of each, because you need 'em to have a stable Dark World deck. Yes you search everything with Snoww, but you can't search for stuff like Reborn, Hole and friends.

Finally, I'm only running 9 Monsters that want to be discarded and 5 that don't want to be, so having any monster in your hand stuck, that you don't want to be discarded is like impossible.

Well. To end this wall of text, there is a little downside with Dark Worlds. You have to strongly side in Game 2 and 3, because there are so much possibilities to cripple Dark Worlds. But if they don't have those stuff, they're just screwed up.

So play DWs or don't, your decision, but we all have  to deal with 'em, so you can't just say 'Ah Dark World. You mean Phaiil World!!'

  2. i think its kinda sad, that you guys spend(for me waste...) so much time on dark worlds :S
At least its not a "normal" TCG/OCG Build, its a sephirot build, as fuckin random as sephirot can be xD

  3. Well, as random as we always try to be, in the end we 'waste' too much time on every deck.
